This is very much an area that we understand, things change in a busy family almost by the hour. Partners can frequently be caught out with work commitments or tiredness can just creep up when you least expect it. Our emergency support service at present is location dependent, so when you need to talk to us find out if your home is in our emergency support area.
Where can I find Essential Nannying suppport?
We operate in Surrey and Newcastle, and will be offering a nationwide service very soon.
What does Essential Nannying mean by being confidential?
Essential Nannying provide candidates to meet a wide range of domestic situations all of our clients are looking for integrity and confidentiality, both of these traits will be found in all of our candidates. We also understand the very special needs of those clients who have a high public profile and therefore the need for extreme confidentiality. What is so special about Essential Nannying?

Do Essential Nannying charge fees for registering as a parent or nanny?
We do not charge fees for registering with us, and if you are a potential client right from the word go we will always welcome the opportunity to take a your call. If you are a nanny please register first, once we have your details we will arrange for a mutually convenient time to carry out a preliminary first question and answer interview.
Are all of Essential Nannying’s nannies, doulas, nurses and aids experienced and qualified?
Absolutely, apart from vetting the documented qualifications we will never send you a nanny who we have not met. All of our nannies are interviewed and then matched to meet with your requirements and family situation taking in to account their personality, life style and flexibility.
Do Essential Nannying have live in and live out nannies?
Yes, but most of our nanny placements we make are live-out placements.
Should I consider Essential Nannying’s nannies, doulas, nurses and aids as employees?
Yes in all cases, there are none of our candidates who can be considered as contractors.
Can Essential Nannying help with advice on helping me to understand employee tax requirements?
Yes, we will help, however we are not tax experts, but we will highlight sources and organisations that can give more detailed information and support.
What is a CRB?
A CRB is the abbreviation for the Criminal Records Bureau. Anyone working with children has to register with the Home Office and have a police check performed prior to any work they undertake. We do not submit any candidates who have not had a recent CRB check.
